Operator - AIR CONDITIONED PLANT!

Our fast-growing, technologically-driven manufacturing firm is seeking Operators for 3rd shift (10pm - 6am) and for swing shift (rotating 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift, off 1 week per month). This position will provide successful candidates with the chance to apply their knowledge, learn new skills, and work as a team within a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate for this role has 2+ years of experience in the manufacturing sector, pays strong attention to detail, is dedicated to learning, and is committed to workplace safety.

Our Plant Location - 112 SELIT Drive - Commerce, GA 30529

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Carry out production, inspection, packaging, and machine operation duties- Set up machinery and ensure all materials are readily available- Effectively monitor production equipment- Resolve operational issues and escalate them as necessary to Lead Operator- Operate forklifts to move, pull, load, and unload materials- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace- Follow established safety rules and regulations; maintain good 5S and cleanliness during the shift

Schedule Requirements

- Required to work two weekends per month (weekends are 2x12 hour shifts)- Will have 1 week (Monday - Friday) off per month

Your Skillset

- Strong knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting- Fulfill physical requirements of the position including walking, standing, stooping, and climbing- Able to lift a maximum of 60 pounds and stand for an eight-hour work shift- Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts; 24/7 operation may require to work adjusted shifts- Committed to quality, safety, and communication

Preferred Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED- Minimum of two (2) years industrial experience or in related areas
